LG front loading washing machine issue, please help!
Posted On: October 31, 2023
I have had an LG washer and dryer set couple a little less than two years. It recently started sending me the OE code. When it is draining it is making a loud surging sound. After doing some research, I figured it must be my drain pump. I replaced the drain pump and ran a speed cycle. The first cycle completed yet still had the surging sound. The second and everyone since fails to the OE code. The corrugated drain pipe isn't crushed. I recently took the door off and put it back on, but it ran cycles after I put it back on. I've ensured it is on ...[

Why is the freezer leaking
Posted On: October 29, 2023
Why is the freezer leaking.Have a fridge where the freezer is on the bottom and slides out like a drawer. First one I've had like this, came with my house when I bought it. Lately have been getting leaking water around the front of the unit. When opened up it has ice pooling on the bottom and it looks like ice around the air blower in the back. I've felt around the line in for the ice maker and can't feel or see leaking (but it's hard to get close as the drawer is in the way of really getting in there). Any thoughts welcome.Question from user M...[

Why is my new fridge water like this?
Posted On: October 28, 2023
Just got a new Lg fridge, bought a new filter, cycled out a lot of water and this is what it looks like. It seems like they're air bubbles they float to the top and get kind of foamy on the sides. Could it be cause the pressures high or is this normal?Question from user mikerona50 at Appliances at reddit.com.Answer:Did you run a few gallons through it like the manual says? .I know at least the replacement water filter manuals say to discard the first few gallons.Answer from user PoliticalDestruction at Appliances at reddit.com.Re Posted From: W...[

Best affordable dishwasher
Posted On: October 27, 2023
Hi, .I'm a 1st time homeowner and I bought my townhouse back in 2019. My GE dishwasher that came with the place is having issues unfortunately and I might need to replace it. All of the appliances in my kitchen are GE in the Slate color so preferably I would like to match everything still, however I also don't want to spend a ton of money on a dishwasher because I don't know if I'll be in my place for a long time or not. With that being said is there a really good dishwasher that's relatively affordable with an all in installation, etc. cost th...[

Can Portable electric space heaters be plugged into this?

I know extension cords aren't right for heaters. But what about one of these?Question from user Echo1xx at Appliances at reddit.com.Answer:Space heaters need to be plugged directly into the wall socket, never into power strips or anything else. Plugging anything else into the same wall socket may trip the circuit breaker - fuse.Answer from user damion789 at Appliances at reddit.com.Re Posted From: Can Portable electric space heaters be plugged into this?Appliance Helper...[

New Samsung Washing Machine Is this too much wobble?
Posted On: October 23, 2023
New washing machine. We have checked and rechecked for level. At times where the drum spins up or down it wobbles like this. Normal or should I return? It is on the 2nd floor and we don't feel any vibrations. It run quiet.Question from user Timely-Event6374 at Appliances at reddit.com.Answer:Seems about right, modern machines regardless of brand like to vibrate more than previous models. If you have the machine on a leak pan, you could take it off the pan which would likely reduce the wobble a bit.Answer from user Smurdle450 at Appliances at red...[
