Help finding new fridge!
After several hours looking online, I'm having a really hard time finding a fridge that meets our needs. I'd love some guidance on whether we're being unrealistic, or any leads on options that might work! Details:.
Must:.
$1200 budget. Stainless front. Less than 30” deep—the shallower the better, as it will be fully exposed on both sides. As wide as possible—to make up for the depth limits, there is a 58” wide space.
Wants: Ice maker would be nice, but we do not want a water or ice dispenser. Top or bottom freezer strongly preferred. Full width shelves. Fingerprint resistant finish.
Any guidance is much appreciated! I've found some options that fulfill some of our criteria, if anyone has experience with these:.

Question from user Vapid-Investigator at Appliances at reddit.com.
Answer:
Just bought a new one today from Costco because they do free delivery and free haul away, as well as increasing warranty to 2 yrs. Consumer reports recommended GE or, surprisingly, Amana for reliability in the side by side style, which is what we got. We wanted water and ice, without the ice being stored in the door. I just passed this on to you for the reliability info. For French door style, they recommended LG, but overall scores for these were not as high as other styles. I noticed Samsung offering 10 year warranty, I guess to make up for the predictable compressor failing.
