Should I replace the sheet in my microwave?

Answer:
Like 99% of the things people post are like should I still use this? when there is like a hole burned through the metal side.
Glad to see someone having proper respect for a microwave.
But in this case the other commenters are totally correct, you could run the microwave fine without that item, but if food got splattered on the part behind it then it might overheat,change the way the microwave works.
Tldr : your good.
