Tesla Became the Most Purchased New Car in Switzerland in 2021
In a first for Tesla, the car company has the official title of the most purchased new car in Switzerland.
This is according to the latest data from Auto-Suisse, who released the 2021 numbers earlier today.
The top-selling car was the Tesla Model 3, with 5074 vehicles sold.
The Model 3 overtook the "historic leader" in Suisse car sales, the Oktavia from Skoda.
It also means that the best-selling Suisse car is an E.V for the first time.
The top five cars in terms of sales in 2021 were:
1. Tesla Model 3
2. Skoda Oktavia
3. Audi Q3
4. Volkswagen Tiguan
5. Fiat 500
