WFSB reported on CHR’s recently launched innovative pilot program in collaboration with Somers Fire Department Paramedics and Trinity Health New England known as the Somers Fire Department Prehospital Suboxone program. The interview featuring Somers Paramedic Cody Lemire and Brittany Liebla, DNP, APRN, CHR’s Addiction Medicine Specialist for the Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) Program – who coordinated the Prehospital Suboxone pilot together – highlights the importance of this program in helping prevent overdose deaths and connecting people to life-saving services.
