What fits into the space of a sub zero 550?
Replacing a built in 29 year old fridge. Is there something stainless and nice (without the knotty pine cabinet panels) that fits there that maybe isn't as expensive as a sub zero? Or am I stuck with this $12,500 option?
Question from user Chemical_Concern1226 at Appliances at reddit.com.
Answer:
84 x 36 x 24 gives you lots of options. Counter depth is always going to be way more expensive.
Monogram(pass), True, Viking(pass), fisher paykel, Miele, GE profile. Nothing budget friendly though. AJ Madison has a filter you can mess with. 30 years for 12.5 seems like a deal to me though.. I'm a sub zero fan boy though.
If the fridge is still kicking, you might think about just getting some more contemporary panels fabricated.
I don't think you will escape for under 10k. Also last time I checked Sub Zero was at least 12 months out for new deliveries.
