LG top load washer wash and rinse cycles always hot Lines are NOT switched

Model WT7400CV.I have a new LG top load washer and can't get a cold wash or cold rinse to save my life. Cold wash is hot. Both cold and tap cold settings are hot. I've searched everywhere and can't find a fix. I've checked multiple times and the hoses are hooked up correctly. Sometimes the pipes are hooked up wrong and what appears to be the cold tap is actually hot, but with my previous washer, I washed and rinsed with cold and the water was cold for both cycles.
